Cats require a regular dietary taurine supply. Taurine is water-soluble, so some can pass into cooking liquid; the retained amount depends on the ingredient, method and whether the liquid is served.

Where does calcium come from without bone

Does a cooked cat diet require a taurine supplement?
That cannot be answered without calculating the whole recipe. Cooking and discarding liquid can change the amount of taurine remaining. BARFLAB estimates the preparation effect and shows the result against an available threshold.
Where do I get calcium in a cooked cat diet?
