What the service includes
BARFLAB is a digital service available through:
- the web application,
- the iOS app,
- the Android app,
- the public website and help center associated with these products.
The service is used to create, evaluate, and save BARF diets and data connected to a pet profile.
Who can use BARFLAB
BARFLAB can be used both by private individuals and by businesses.
If you use BARFLAB as part of paid work, client services, business activity, professional consultations, or any other commercial use, you must have an active BARFLAB Pro subscription.
If, under the law that applies to you, you cannot enter into a contract on your own, use the service only with the involvement of a parent, guardian, or another authorized representative.
Account and acceptable use
When you create an account, you are responsible for:
- providing accurate information,
- keeping your login credentials secure,
- controlling access to your account,
- actions performed with your account, unless the problem was caused by us.
You must not:
- use the service unlawfully,
- use the BARFLAB Private plan for paid work or commercial activity,
- interfere with the security or availability of the service,
- copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or bulk-extract data from BARFLAB beyond what mandatory law allows,
- use the service in a way that may harm other users or our infrastructure.
We may restrict or suspend access where needed for security, legal compliance, abuse prevention, or a material breach of these rules.
Plans and commercial use
BARFLAB may offer different plans, including BARFLAB Private and BARFLAB Pro.
- BARFLAB Private is intended for personal, non-commercial use — creating diets for your own pets.
- BARFLAB Pro is required for commercial and professional use, including work with clients.
Plan scope, current prices, billing periods, and currencies are shown at purchase — in the web application or in the relevant app store.
Availability and changes
We may update, develop, and change BARFLAB to maintain security, compatibility, legal compliance, and product quality.
We may also temporarily limit access due to technical work, outages, abuse protection, or causes beyond our reasonable control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the service at all times.
Intellectual property
All rights to the BARFLAB software, brand, design, texts, and other materials belong to us or our licensors.
Under these terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service as intended.
Veterinary disclaimer and liability
BARFLAB is a supporting tool. It does not replace veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Feeding decisions always require context and the user’s judgment. You are responsible for:
- the data you enter into the service,
- the ingredients and supplements you choose,
- the final decisions about feeding your pet,
- assessing whether a veterinary consultation is needed in a given situation.
BARFLAB does not guarantee any specific health or nutritional outcome, because the result also depends on the quality of input data and the user’s decisions.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in this article limits rights that cannot be excluded under mandatory law.
Complaints and contact
If you want to file a complaint or report a problem, write to kontakt@barflab.io.
It helps to include:
- the email address linked to your account,
- a description of the problem,
- the date the problem occurred,
- purchase details, if the matter concerns billing.
We handle complaints without undue delay and within the timeframes required by applicable law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Polish law, unless mandatory consumer protection rules require otherwise.
If you are a consumer, you keep the protection granted to you by the mandatory rules of the country of your habitual residence.
