How do I create my first pet profile?

Add a healthy adult dog or cat profile with body weight, activity, neutering status, and BCS.

A profile connects a diet with one animal’s details so BARFLAB can estimate its energy needs.

Steps

  1. Start adding a new profile from the pet-profile area.
  2. Choose a dog or cat and enter a profile name.
  3. Add body weight and life stage.
  4. Choose the activity level, diet goal, and neutering or spaying status.
  5. Add the animal’s body condition score (BCS).
  6. Save the profile.

Result

The profile appears in the pet-profile list and can be selected when you create a diet. Its details affect the estimated energy requirement, targets, and warnings in the analysis.

Limitations

BARFLAB’s current scope covers healthy adult dogs and cats. Growth, pregnancy, lactation, illness, or a therapeutic diet requires specialist advice. If the animal has an allergy, check every product’s composition—the profile does not replace a diagnosis or veterinary guidance.
